History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Akta was born on a far eastern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Dilettante. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Adelard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Ea and her spouse have recently divorced.
