Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears grey trousers with blue and yellow striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His silver hair and beard is wavy and long. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Baern took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She works hard and plays hard.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: Birel wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: She was born in a small plains village. Her first spouse was a Dilettante, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
