Personality: Meriele wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She works hard and plays hard.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her painting dream.

History: Gifted from a young age, Shane studied abroad. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Painter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
