Personality: She hates giants. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Bethrynna alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion; and she is greedy

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Dustin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Shane was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.
