History: Kelter was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He struck the Layabout job and began his own company from there.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His first spouse was a Navigator, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her childhood dream was to be a Ruler, but she was a colossal failure. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: Her right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears a grey top hat and grey clothes. Her golden hair is cut short. Her blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Margery liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
