History: Five lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Torbera was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
