Description: An older man who wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during, he is not a threatening figure. With bright chestnut hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. The war was a terrible time for him, and Nicholas does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
