He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Detective and was forced into it by his family.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Carter. He has worked as a Carter like his mother before him.
