History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Lewis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. His black eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Chem is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
