To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dayereth. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His childhood dream was to be a Hunter, but he was a colossal failure. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes goblins are coming to abduct people. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
