History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Gardain was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gardain's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a Scribe soon after.

He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was taken from her home at a very young age. During her travels, Mialee and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Mialee discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Mialee fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
