Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Paela isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Paela was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: Born in the south to a Spy, Gimble learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
