Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His golden hair and beard is wavy and long. His eyes are brown and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Spear fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

History: She was born into a rich family. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: To pay off her debts.
