History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gifted student he started as a Armorer, but he got bored and became a Masseuse. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Masseuse for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Masseuse responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. The war was a terrible time for him, and Jade does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Jade was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to brigands.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. A gifted student she started as a Layabout, but she got bored and became a Mortician. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and further expansion of business
