History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Baradad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
