History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Varis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered singing. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
