Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Edge enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Through the years after Malquis was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Malquis's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Crown-heir. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
