History: Dell was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and doesn't want to be a hunter and was forced into it by her family

History: She was born in the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Joan's homeland. Joan decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.
