History: Marigold was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Unemployed for hire.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying east to reunite her family. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it
