Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Adelaide was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her youth she was a Guard, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Layabout for the past few years.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Xappan never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
