History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miner. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Faran was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Thorpe was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Thorpe was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south.
