Personality: He is happy with his job as a Knight. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in the north to a Knight, Paggen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Knight. During his travels, Paggen and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Paggen discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Paggen fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This late middle aged man is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured and is in decent physical shape. His silver hair is heavily combed to the right. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. The war was a terrible time for him, and Mordai does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Mordai was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Mordai reached his early adolescence his Tiefling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Zagga was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Layabout. She bought a quarterstaff and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
