Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to protect his home

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Vorka was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Vorka and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it
