History: Eleanor lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion

She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills.
