When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her parents enrolled her in a Ranger school at a young age so that she could practice her divine talents. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.
