History: Patrin lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to prove his worth to the world

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Herbalist responsibilities is difficult; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
