History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in the west to a Bowyer, Shifting learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bowyer. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Bowyer and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: Zephan hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Sage. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sage for the past few years.
