History: She was born in a small forest village. After coming to the age of reason, Veloptima took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alex grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
