History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Alston was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Alston decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Valorean grew up listening to his father's many stories. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He became a Fletcher soon after.
