Personality: Mamnen is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Mamnen is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is her passion

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He worked as a nervous Miller and found it very stressful. He tends to his Miller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
