History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. A gifted student he started as a Cook, but he got bored and became a Miller. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miller for hire.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He found a children's book about a Halfling Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
