Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. The war was a terrible time for him, and Sweet does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sweet was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Sweet was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Trym embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She is obsessed with her god.

History: Born to a Bricklayer, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She tends to her Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and wants to open a new tavern

She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
