History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Alice grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Alice. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his youth he was a Junk Dealer, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He became a Cartwright soon after.
