He prefers to carry a monstrous two handed axe, but if one is not available he will default to his greatsword. His green crest is knotted and matted. Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Kaladan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: With red face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His silver hair is braided into rings. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Description: An older woman who is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior, she is not a threatening figure. She has done her best to style her black hair to look like a famous performer. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She works hard and plays hard.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hlin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with tan colored cloaks and clothing. His black hair is smooth and relatively long. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He got into the Merchant business at a young age. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and revenge
