Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: She tends to wear a black poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 6'3" when asserting herself. She has dyed her greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Burto embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His white hair is braided into rings. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Guard, but he got bored and became a Adventurer. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and expand his business
