He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

Description: This late middle aged man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright yellow and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems and is in decent physical shape. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Paelias was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of giants
