So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She takes great joy in being the best Merchant in town.

History: She got into the Merchant business at a young age. When Beatrice reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. She found a children's book about a Dragonborn Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She tends to her Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and regain custody of her daughter
