History: Born to a Priest, his father struggled to pay the bills. Baern was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Adventurer. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At some point he was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
