History: Wiggens hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. She has moderate length silver crest. Her eyes are red and catlike.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Blendaeth is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Blendaeth was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: He usually wears his blue robe and has his pickaxe always slung over his shoulder, and carries pickaxes. His brown hair has been sun bleached extensively. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a Barber, his father struggled to pay the bills. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she is dressed in a clean tan cloak covering her clean studded leather. She wears her brown hair down. Her fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. The war was a terrible time for her, and Enidda does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Enidda was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She was taken from her home at a very young age. During her travels, Enidda and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Enidda discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Enidda fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she feels kind of lost in life
