History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Vaina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Architect work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: A 6'7" eastern man, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull red iron scale mail. He sports a long chestnut beard, and similarly colored long hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. After a long history of fighting, Calcitro and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. She carries with her a set of pickaxes, each one with a jet on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her fur, while still mostly gray, has prominent grey streaks. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are copper.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Bricklayer business.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
