History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
