History: Trym was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gifted student he started as a Bricklayer, but he got bored and became a Weaver. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
