History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Meriele fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is obsessed with his god.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mreksh grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mreksh. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: She got into the Beggar business at a young age. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Reeza and her spouse have recently divorced.
