Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. The war was a terrible time for him, and Nelkin does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He comes from a rich western family. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered goblins who tried to eat his hand. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cook responsibilities is difficult; and he feels threatened by others

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: Quilla was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. After coming to the age of reason, Quilla took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
