History: Ortegar hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ortegar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ortegar. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her divine abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born in the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Astar's homeland. Astar decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a map maker and was forced into it by his family
