History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tarhun grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tarhun. After months of barely getting by, Tarhun managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Therlin was born on a far western plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Detective. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.
