History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has achieved small success as a Ploughman.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Grûblik was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Grûblik's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Laborer for the past few years.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
