History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Emerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 7 years.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. After coming to the age of reason, Naivara took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has decided she is irredeemable

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
