History: Thava was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and a strong sense of loyalty to elven people

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rurik does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of a Bellfounder, who enjoyed hunting, Rurik was taken on many hunting expeditions. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rurik was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rurik fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Jacoba is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and her religion dominates her actions
