Description: He is wearing a tight green one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. He is physically well-built. He wears his white hair down. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Valafar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Valafar hails from a village terrorized by brigands. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barkeep. He has achieved small success as a Barkeep.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he wants revenge against brigands

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a black shirt, with a grey mid length shorts with grey tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While he appears to be a normal Half-Orc, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Argran fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Halflings. Her skin is light but she possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Half-Orcs. His skin is light but he possesses many blue ritualistic tattoos. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Karash was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
